SASA AFRICAN RESTAURANT is one of the other food places listed in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The business is registered at 162 McLean St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (570) 328-8918. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 49 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded other food places in Wilkes-Barre.
Wilkes-Barre is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Wilkes-Barre peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I'm pregnant and was craving some fufu and egusi and was happy to find this place ... I took a round-trip Uber , It's a home with a beautiful African family βπΎππΎ... The food was great just a lil too salty definitely not what I'm used too when I eat African food in NYC but it was good, the fufu wasn't enough for me and I wasn't happy about that I'm pregnant and just probably needed more food lol but overall I loved the experience

Iβve never had Fufu & Egusi before and Iβve been wanting to try it for years. I happened to look it up on Google and was shown SASA. It is all homemade ! They do pick up only as they donβt have a restaurant yet, but I would highly recommend trying it. It was absolutely delicious and I loved it !

I had an amazing experience! The egusi soup and fufu were absolutely delicious β you can truly taste that it was homemade, authentic African cooking made with care. The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned, and the portion size was more than generous. On top of the great food, the customer service was outstanding. Everyone was so sweet, kind, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Iβll definitely be coming back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality African food!

Pick up in residential house. Food was plentiful. Great customer service. For me the Egusi soup was not Egusiing enough. It didn't taste like the ones I know. Apart from that fufu was fresh and rice was freshly made.
